The ministry of Culture in Brunei has come together with a youth contingent to carry out humanitarian work to be done in southeast Asia. This will be a chance for the youth in Brunei to share with other countries their culture, but also come together for a real cause. They will be providing relief to countries in southeast Asia that are going through disasters. These include Aceh after the tsunami, and more recently to conflict-hit Gaza and Myanmar's Rakhine state.
I think the idea of the youth in Brunei coming together for the practice of cultural exchange and humanitarian relief in southeast Asia is very important. I think people are more accepting of another countries cultures if they show their desire to help when another country is in distress. This is an important step in building goodwill.
The humanitarian project present in this article is very important to the culture in Brunei because it shows their desire and willingness to help other countries when they are going through disasters. This allows them to exchange their culture with other countries which in turn strengthens their culture.
